Exploring the Versatility of Italtronic Latusbox: A Comprehensive Guide

  • 3 min read

In the rapidly evolving world of electronics, efficient and reliable housing solutions are crucial for protecting and organizing sensitive components. Italtronic, a leader in electronic enclosures, offers a versatile solution with its Latusbox range. In this blog, we'll delve into the features, applications, and benefits of Italtronic Latusbox, highlighting why it stands out in the market.

What is Italtronic Latusbox?

The Italtronic Latusbox is a series of electronic enclosures designed to robustly protect electronic circuits and components. These enclosures are known for their high-quality construction, innovative design, and adaptability, making them suitable for a wide range of applications in various industries.

LATUSBOX is designed to offer maximum flexibility and customization for applications requiring a common motherboard and additional card connections, similar to a FIELD BUS structure.

LATUSBOX consists of modular components that can be easily combined to meet various application needs. It features two container models, varying in width, that can be aesthetically customized through digital or laser printing on the semi-transparent front or container.

The containers are designed to allow the use of connectors in the lower part for connection to the motherboard via the modular seat. In the wider version, plug-in terminals can also be used in the front part.

The modular seat, fixed on the printed circuit board, can manage eight containers of 9.8mm width or four containers of 19.8mm width. Levers applied to the modular seat secure the containers in place and facilitate their removal when disconnected from the motherboard.

Modular seats can be placed side by side without any limitation on the number of containers hosted. Polarizers fixed on the container and modular seat ensure each container can only be positioned where the polarization allows, preventing incorrect electrical connections through a mechanical lock.
